The firm has been founded by a senior professional with extensive corporate finance experience across the United States and the CSE region.

WHO WE ARE

CHARLES DENTON

Senior Advisor, Global Brand Marketing

15+ years in various leadership positions as part of Molton Brown, one of the UK's leading upmarket personal care firms, where he held the positions of Sales & Marketing Director, CEO and Deputy Chairman. Charles led the complete restructuring of the business into a global luxury lifestyle brand and spearheaded its sale to Kao Corporation of Japan in 2005 for £172m.

From 2009 to 2013, Charles led the London-based advertising agency FOLD7 and in 2010 became Chairman of the Los Angeles based entertainment company HONORA.TV which champions first-time writer/directors in film and television.

In 2011, Charles acquired Erno Laszlo New York, a luxury skin care brand with PE backing, and he is currently serving as the company’s Chairman and CEO.

Charles is regularly retained as a Senior Advisor on consumer, luxury and beauty acquisitions by PE firms.

Charles divides his time between New York, Los Angeles, London and Singapore.

Charles has devoted much of his time leading transformation in various businesses and charitable organizations, including the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital where he spent 3 years as Executive Director before becoming Chairman of Fundraising in 2008. During his tenure the charity raised a £320m Capital Redevelopment Fund.

Charles also served as a Trustee of the genetic research charity Jeans for Genes from 2006 to 2009. He was also appointed as a Trustee and Chairman of the South African orphans’ charity Sentebale which was established by Prince Harry in memory of his late mother Princess Diana.

Charles is actively involved in mentoring young entrepreneurs.

11+ years of M&A experience both in the United States (Union Square Advisors, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley) and in Bulgaria (Endeavor, Ernst & Young, Entrea Capital).

Previously advised US companies from the software, internet, consumer electronics, home entertainment and semiconductor sectors (sell-side M&A advisory, buy-side M&A advisory, takeover defense, private placements, etc.).

Previously advised Bulgarian companies from the ICT, industrial manufacturing, FMCG, personal finance, traditional and online retail, agriculture and other sectors (sell-side M&A advisory, buy-side M&A advisory, equity and debt capital raising, Board advisory, etc.).

VASIL RABUHCHIEV

Director

5+ years of Capital Markets experience at bulge bracket (Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citibank), specialized (ICBC Standard) and buy-side (Rothesay Life) financial firms. Worked on buy-side investments across commercial real estate, corporate and infrastructure bonds. Specialized in the valuation of the full range of fixed income instruments.

2+ years of Corporate Finance and Business Development experience at large multinationals (Siemens, IBM). Previously responsible for the financial control of a business unit (£30mm budget), engaged in the installation of large-scale renewable energy projects (Siemens). Worked on the business development of high-speed rolling stocks projects (Siemens) in Beijing, China.
